'The aim of the appeal is to raise £45,000 to purchase and custom fit a new Land Rover Ambulance.
The custom fit of the vehicle will provide the capability to not only carry specialist rescue equipment but also to securely carry a casualty on a stretcher in safety.
The vehicle will also be fitted with radio equipment to ensure that the vehicle driver can remain in contact with members of the team as well as the Police and Ambulance Service during rescue operations.'
