LAND ROVER WATCH STOLEN VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM

blank

What is Land Rover Watch?
Land Rover Watch is the authorised pan-European stolen vehicle tracking system form Land Rover. When fitted discreetly to a Land Rover vehicle it senses an unauthorised movement of the vehicle and alerts the Land Rove Watch Monitoring Service which , in turn, passes on relevant information to the local police. And because it is constantly monitoring the vehicle, it provides protection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the UK and in Europe.

How does it work?
When an illegal movement of a vehicle fitted with Land Rove Watch takes place, it triggers a silent alert to the Land Rover Watch Monitoring Service. The monitoring Service contacts the vehicle owner to confirm whether a theft has taken pace. Should the vehicle be confirmed as stolen then tracing begins immediately using GPS and GSM technologies and the police are informed to activate retrieval. The system has it sown independent power source and so will work even if the car’s battery is disconnected.

Why do I need it?
During the last ten years vehicle security has greatly improved and vehicle crime has fallen significantly. What the statistics also show, however, is that there has been a corresponding increase in key theft (car jacking and home burglaries).  Your car is now most likely to be stolen using your own keys, thereby bypassing recent advances in vehicle security by simply unlocking the doors and riving away.

Land Rover Watch helps combat key theft by providing an Automatic Driver Recognition card that must be present when the car is driven. This is provided as standard in some countries, and is optional in others.
